Along with the Pro Shop came one of the largest single bay Golf Studios in Cornwall, with a room that is just around 8m long, 4 m wide and 3m high. Giving the feeling that the golfer has plenty of room to swing without the feeling of being in an enclosed space.
The room was designed by Golf Swing Systems who put together the padding around the hitting area, the screen and projector which delivers high quality resolution, hitting astroturf and putting astroturf around the outside with 2 putting cups for those who would like to work on their putting stroke. The putting turf is paced at 10 on a stimpmeter reading, as used to by all Greenkeeping Teams to determine the speed of the greens around the golf course.
The final addition to the Studio was to purchase a Trackman 4, which uses optically enhanced radar tracking ( OERT ) technology to capture the exact impact location on the clubface. Trackman 4 uses doppler radar technology and captures data for the full flight of the golf ball, which generally lasts for about 6 seconds.
